We have some genuinely exciting news to share with our UK higher education community. After twelve months of close partnership with London Interdisciplinary School (LIS) and the wonderful team at UCAS, we are delighted to introduce UCAS Connector, a new native integration joining our UK product suite.

If your platform cannot speak UCAS fluently, it cannot run your core admissions workflow. That has always been our starting point on this one, and today we are thrilled to say that Full Fabric now speaks UCAS, fluently and natively, from application through to enrolment and into the SIS.

    NEW EBOOK

How to Boost Admissions using Workflow Automation

The development and maintenance of an in-house system is a complex and time-consuming task. Full Fabric lets you turn your full attention to maximizing growth and performance.

More than a CRM data pipe

This is where UCAS Connector is a little different to what you have seen before. Most integrations are narrow. They pull UCAS data into a CRM and stop there. UCAS Connector is built into the Full Fabric platform, which means the moment an application lands, it can power every product in the suite.

Admissions. This is the one LIS is most excited about. UCAS applications flow straight into the Full Fabric Admissions product ready for selection, evaluation and decisioning. Reviewers, panels and committees work inside Full Fabric with every piece of applicant context they need. Decisions then sync back to UCAS in real time. LIS is already running their full UCAS admissions review process through this integration.

Relationship Management (CRM). Every UCAS applicant immediately plugs into the Full Fabric higher education CRM. That means personalised nurture journeys tailored by programme and nationality, event invites to open days and applicant sessions, smart segmentation, triggered comms when applicants go quiet, and lifecycle tracking from first click through to alumnus. Applicants feel looked after. Your team does not lift a finger.

Student Information System (SIS). When the applicant becomes an accepted student, their record flows directly into the Full Fabric SIS with every data field intact. Academic, administrative and compliance teams get a single trusted record, cleaner HESA and OfS reporting, and audits that take hours instead of weeks.

One student record. Three integrated products. Zero swivel chair admin.

    Why this matters now

If you are a UK institution evaluating your student systems stack, you have almost certainly run into the same uncomfortable trade off: the incumbents are big, expensive, and built on architecture from a different era, while most modern challengers cannot handle UCAS natively. That has quietly kept a lot of forward looking institutions locked into legacy contracts far longer than they would like.

We have just removed that obstacle. UCAS Connector joins our UK product suite as a first class citizen, which means UK institutions can now move to a genuinely modern platform without compromising on the workflow that matters most.

    The LIS admissions story

A special word on LIS. They did not want a light touch UCAS integration that just landed data in a CRM inbox. They wanted to run their entire UCAS selection and decisioning workflow, end to end, inside Full Fabric. That meant we had to build UCAS Connector into the heart of the Admissions product, not bolt it on around the edges. Their reviewers now pick up UCAS applicants inside the same workflows they use for every other applicant, make decisions, and see those decisions flow back to UCAS in real time.

    What your team actually gets

    1. Less manual work. No more pulling UCAS reports, no more manual imports, no more chasing missing fields. Applications arrive enriched and ready to review.
    2. Faster decisions. Admissions teams work in one interface with every applicant, whether they came through UCAS or any other channel.
    3. Activated applicants. CRM automations kick in from day one. Nurture, events, comms and segmentation run in the background while admissions get on with their job.
    4. Cleaner data. A single source of truth across the applicant lifecycle means your reporting is trustworthy and your compliance team sleeps better.
    5. A better student experience. Applicants experience a consistent, branded journey from offer to enrolment to first day of term.
    6. One platform, end to end. UCAS at the front. SIS at the back. Admissions and CRM in between. All connected.

Huge thanks where it is due

Integrations like this do not build themselves, and they certainly do not get built well without a brilliant design partner. Massive thanks to the team at London Interdisciplinary School for the rigour they brought to the spec, especially on the admissions selection workflow, and to UCAS for the close collaboration that made UCAS Connector native rather than a bolt on. This is what good partnership looks like.

    Who should care

If any of the following sound familiar, we should talk:

    • You are a UK institution currently stitching UCAS into a legacy SIS or CRM with duct tape and goodwill.
    • You are reviewing your admissions platform and have been told UCAS support is a blocker.
    • You run a UK admissions office and want your selection and decisioning process to live in one place, not five.
    • You are scaling into new programmes or new intakes and need a platform that can flex with you.
    • You already use Full Fabric and want to switch UCAS Connector on.

    See it in action

We would love to show you how UCAS Connector works end to end, from application pull through Admissions review, into CRM automations and Enrolment, and all the way into the SIS, in about 20 minutes. Book a demo and we will walk you through it using your institution's workflow.

The UK market has been waiting for a modern alternative to the incumbents. It just arrived, and it speaks UCAS.
