IÉSEG School of Management: Enhancing the Applicant Experience with Full Fabric

IÉSEG School of Management set out to modernise its admissions process by replacing its legacy in-house system with Full Fabric’s intuitive, all-in-one admissions software.

The Challenge

Founded in 1964 in Lille, France, IÉSEG School of Management has grown into one of the country’s leading business schools, with a strong international reputation and over 8,000 students across its Lille and Paris-La Défense campuses. Ranked 32nd globally by the Financial Times, and holding the prestigious triple crown accreditation from EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA, IÉSEG is recognised for its commitment to academic excellence and its mission to empower changemakers for a better society.

In addition to its undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, IÉSEG offers bespoke programmes for businesses, reflecting a forward-thinking approach to education and professional development.

The Challenge: A System That Didn’t Match the Institution’s Excellence

While IÉSEG had already established itself as a leader in global business education, its admissions and payment processes were becoming increasingly complex. The applicant experience was fragmented and failed to reflect the school’s modern, international identity. Candidates were required to email signed forms and supporting documents, creating hundreds of manual exchanges per intake. Payments were managed separately, often requiring confirmation and follow-up due to banking delays.

Internally, the admissions team had limited autonomy to make updates, while the IT department handled constant requests for form changes and data checks. This slowed down decision-making and left little room for innovation. The result was a heavy administrative burden and an inconsistent experience for applicants and staff alike.

The Solution: A Seamless Transition to Full Fabric

To modernise its admissions experience and improve internal efficiency, IÉSEG partnered with Full Fabric to digitise its entire applicant journey, from application to enrolment. Working closely with Full Fabric’s Client Success team, the implementation was smooth and collaborative, with all requirements captured early and hands-on training provided to ensure quick adoption.

The platform now gives IÉSEG the ability to update forms, programmes, deadlines, and communications directly, without relying on IT. Applicants benefit from a clear, step-by-step portal that guides them through each stage with automatic confirmations and progress tracking.

The switch to Full Fabric helped our students in their application process, along with the staff back-office experience. [We] offered captivating short-term programmes, attracting 197 participants from 37 different countries. [It] has been the most successful to this date.

Results: Simpler Processes and a Better Experience for Everyone

The impact was immediate. The admissions process became faster, more intuitive, and more transparent for both staff and applicants. Automation reduced manual follow-up, while shared dashboards provided real-time visibility across admissions, finance, and recruitment teams.

Key results included:

  • Faster turnaround times for offers and decisions.
  • Higher completion and enrolment rates.
  • Fewer errors and manual steps across teams.
  • Stronger collaboration between admissions, finance, and recruitment.
  • Positive applicant feedback describing the process as “simple, quick, and transparent.”

Freed from administrative bottlenecks, IÉSEG’s staff can now focus on what matters most: personalised candidate engagement and strategic growth.

Thanks to Full Fabric, IÉSEG now has a future-ready admissions platform that reflects its global identity and academic standards. Admissions staff have gained full visibility over the applicant pipeline and can engage with candidates in a more personalised and timely way. IT teams have been freed up to focus on longer-term innovation, and applicants now enjoy a seamless, mobile-friendly experience from start to finish.

The success of this transformation reflects IÉSEG’s broader commitment to continuous improvement. The school continues to refine its digital admissions strategy, exploring new ways to enhance flexibility and candidate experience while maintaining operational efficiency.
